First from Frank Zappa
I just picked up Frank Zappa's autobiography The Real Frank Zappa Book at a used bookseller. It was published back in '89, quite a while ago and a few years before he passed away.
It has to be one of the more interesting reads. I have always been interested in Zappa's music, (especially since it's so hard to actually get to listen to any of it without buying his CD's) and you can really get a feel for the why and how behind it when you read the book.
It is particularly complete, and it wanders all over, but his stories are entertaining and his views very interesting.
